Customer Services Administrator / Advisor

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team in the fast growing self-storage industry. This role is phone based, and primary duties include providing excellent customer service, processing confidential customer information and handling general enquiries. You will be working in our head office location in Bridgwater. There is parking on site. UK Storage currently has 11 locations throughout the South West, with two more opening the near future - and further sites planned. Our company aim is to provide a great product and first class customer service.

The successful applicant will need to have the ability to listen and empathise with customers’ individual situations, as well as have an excellent phone manner. Previous experience is required. There is an ongoing high level of customer interaction. This is a family run company and every member of our team is valued. Everyone will do their best to help you get settled in to your new position quickly. A training program is provided. Please join our expanding company and team!

Duties:

  • Speaking with customers about self storage needs and availability
  • Processing customer paperwork during move-in and move-out
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Processing payments

Required Skills:

  • Excellent phone manner
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • PC Literacy

Our opening times are: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm Saturday

The work rota is as follows (work times are the same as opening times):

Week 1 - Monday to Friday

Week 2 - Monday to Saturday with a day off mid-week

Reception / Administrator

UK Storage Company is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated reception / administrator with great organisational skills to man the reception desk at our headquarters location in Bridgwater.

A large part of this job is building and maintaining ongoing relationships with the customers when they visit the facility, as well as process their paperwork for their storage room. The successful applicant will need to have the ability to listen and empathise with customers’ individual situations, as well as have an excellent phone manner. There is an ongoing high level of customer interaction by phone and in person. This is a family run company and every member of our team is valued. Everyone will do their best to help you get settled in to your new position quickly. A training program is provided.

  • General housekeeping of reception and storage area (conducting walk-around checks of all three floors of the building at the beginning and end of the day, sweeping recently vacated rooms, etc)
