Our self storage facility in central Bristol is located just one mile from Temple Meads and just south of Bristol city centre. Set in Bedminster the site offers easy access to your storage. Bristol‘s most central facility has various-sized units available with a variety of residential users storing with us.

If you are looking for self storage units in North Bristol then our Yate facility may be the one for you. Based just 3 miles north of Bristol our brand new Yate storage facility is perfect for those wanting good access to the M4 and South Gloucestershire.

All UK Storage Company locations have free access seven days a week. At our Bristol West storage facility in Avonmouth, we have 24-hour access options, giving you access any time of day or night. In our Bristol Central location in Bedminster we have extended access hours available should you require access when our offices are closed.

All our storage units are ground floor and you can park right outside many with others only a short distance from your car. So there’s no lugging items from a car park to a lift or upstairs. Whatever you’re looking to store we will have a unit size for you and pricing that will make you as happy as our location.

We offer a specialised protection plan designed exclusively for self storage. This enhanced liability protection covers a wider range of risks than a standard household insurance and provides extra security for your valuable belongings should the unexpected occur. Your coverage remains valid while your items are stored inside your designated unit.

Please note: the policy does not cover loading, unloading, or transit periods. As this insurance is separate from your household policy, any claim will not impact your home insurance premium or any no-claims discount you’ve earned.

We provide our customers with quality self storage  units and do all we can to remain competitive. However, we know everyone is working to a budget, so we monitor prices locally and make sure our prices are fair. See our Terms and Conditions for our UK Storage Price Promise.

Security of your goods is paramount to us, there is recorded CCTV throughout the site, a two-metre high perimeter fence and a security entrance gate that is always locked – you gain access with your unique gate code. This is all monitored through our security software so we can see who has been in and out of the site. The lock to your storage unit is a cylinder/barrel lock, unlike a padlock these locks slide into the door so there isn’t anything external to be cut. These locks cannot be picked and you hold the only keys.

We have plenty of different-sized units at our Bristol self storage facilities offering you a variety of spaces to choose from. Use our size estimator to get an idea of what size you need or give us a call and we’d be happy to advise. If you have been given a size by a removals firm in cubic feet we can also convert that for you. You can also transfer between rooms without penalty, just start paying the new rent from the day you move (whether that’s higher or lower rate).

We know everything doesn’t always go to plan when you’re moving and many of our customers just need a place to store while they are in between homes. We offer a flexible option, with a minimum term of just 14 days, and with 14 days’ notice required when you want to leave. Some people store the whole contents of their entire house, while others just store what they can’t fit in their temporary accommodation. 

Being as close to the city centre as we are, we get a lot of enquiries from students looking to store their belongings with us. Some students are just looking to store boxes or bags over the summer, while others are interested in storing their whole room/house contents while they go abroad on gap years. Some students choose to split storage with their friends to reduce the cost as that is often a concern, however, we do offer very competitive prices to make storage a viable option for everyone. Getting your goods to us is easy as we’re so close to the centre. Some students even take a taxi with their items rather than hire moving vans and help.
